Life's moving pretty fast.

Chinese new year is coming again, It's reminded me how much things have changed since the last new year, and the new year before, and the new year before that. So much change, now that I think about it.
Within the last year I've had many 'Firsts'.. good and bad ones... lots of bad ones. Losing loved ones one after the other.. to disease, cancer, old age.. But then again thats life. And hopefully If we keep pushing on, awesome things will happen that will make up for the shitty parts! So i'm not complaining. Obviously that only works if you make an effort though..
Alrighty, this is the part where I rant. The thing that ticks me off sometimes..no, ALL the time.. is when people just expect things to work out when they don't even make the smallest amount of effort. Their thinking just revolves around themselves, thinking about only how it affects themselves. Well what about what you're doing to others?
And then when something comes up that only minorly blocks their pathway, they just say Ok. I can't be effed.
You know what else? People that always say things like "Maybe I should just die." GO AHEAD then. But just remember that there are so many people in this world that actually want to live but can't. Those that are terminally ill are literally dieing to live.

Another thing, Queensland is about to be hit by a cyclone. Right after being flooded. Tell me how fair you think that is. Think about how lucky you are to be in a safe place with people that care for you. You even just saying that sentence is not even cool.

I remember when I was a little kid and my dad beat me into a pulp for not eating all of my food. I said "I should just die so that he feels bad."
LOL at myself at that young age. But now I understand, life is important. Cherish, god damn it!
You wouldn't be wishing you were dead if you actually made an effort to make your life better. You're life will only be as awesome as you make it. So get off your couch-potato ass and do something!!

Back to the topic of CNY, Having a quiet one this year, steamboat with my family. You know what I want to do? Make a steamboat in the shape of an actual boat. How cool would that be!? Then it would be an actual steam boat :D yee..
You can tell i'm bored by how much I've written.. diu man, diu! Just tried to make my timetable for my course.. But what am I even suppposed to do?
Last night I was playing badminton, and i was going for a smash. And Smashed the fingers on my left hand. HAHA Smart arn't I? And when I tried to pick up my cup this morning..WHAT THE HELL IS THIS PAIN!? LOL It's weird because you can't see much of a bruise, but when you touch it, it hurts like a b-word.
LOL I just read this part, all students undertaking Bachelor of dental surgery must go through TB screening as required. LOLOL TB. Teeny Bopper (H). Jokes. It's testing for Tuberculosis.

It's like you don't trust me.

I just wish that my parents would trust me to make the right decisions. I'm not stupid..

I know that they're just trying to look out for me and I respect that. I just don't think that they're going about it is the right way. I mean, I guess when I grow up and have children of my own, I'll be all protective and stuff. So I'm trying to understand how my parents are feeling. But it's hard.

I'll just keep the smile on.

Best friends are supposed to be there for you. When you tell them something personal they respect that. When you're into a guy they don't throw themselves at him.

Barbie-Kew at Semaphore

Haven't hung out with my friends from school much at all during this Summer holiday.. So we thought we'd go to the beach and make food. hahha..

The guys that came today were absolutely USELESS! LOL. The one that organised it called up my friend and so she had to get everything, the meat, drinks, cutlery and stuff. Good organisational skills mate! -_- And the girls did all the cooking too.. Fail as a man, guys! But it was still fun, girl power for the win.

After the first half hour of eating we were all getting too full so everyone started feeding the seagulls, which is apparently illegal now? But yes, we did it. We're heaps gangster asians..

I swear these seagulls are so selfish, haven't they heard of sharing? LOL so we had fun watching them fight over food. Quite entertaining!

I had a bad experience with a seashell, it cut me when i stepped on it. i bet it did it on purpose..

Although the weather said that it'd be 36degrees, it was cool, and SO WINDY. The sand whipped our legs when we walked on the beach.. So painful D:

First time doing the 'jumping on the beach' shot, ever! Well for me atleast. Haha so that's one thing that I can cross of from the things I want to do before I turn thirty.. LOL

OH, and i witnessed awesome today. Even on the most gloomy days, you should be able to see the light in every situation. Positive thinking!

Ah, it's Thundering now, what a great summer I must say (:

Under19 training started up again yesterday, I'd forgotten how hard training is... Got completely effed sideways.. hahah fail at badminton..

Also I recently bought a party dress, its black and so sexy ;) AHAHAH jokes, but i like it. The front is pretty simple but the back is awesome.. However I bought it in a size smaller than i usually would, and since its kind of a body hugging dress, this will be my motivation to exercise more and eat healthy. GOOD IDEA RIGHT? :D This plan better work...no, it WILL work, cause i reaaally want to wear the dress soon.

If not i would have just lost $10.. and that could buy me alot... i could have like 20 soft serves from Hungry Jacks. Can you tell how stingy I am? :)

Yesterday I had my very first sleepover, with someone other than my cousin! :D yay, congratulations I'm a big girl now! LOL, went over to Lidya's house.
We were awesome, watched heaps of movies- Dispicable me, When in Rome, Cinderella story- and made cream puffs. But not just any cream puffs. SWAN cream puffs. wooo.
They look like little pieces of crap! :) kyuot!




Ended up not sleeping until 6am, woke up at 1pm, drew on Henry's face :), watched more movies and then headed off to play badminton.
Got this massive bruise on my knee from playing there.. so sad, i'll never be lady-like cuz my legs are always brusied :'( FAIL ..whale.
But anyways it was a fun night.

After getting home last night, quickly went on facebook :P then headed off again to Cocolat, to celebrate Johnny coming back! haha.. but also to farewell Elysia since she's going back to Malaysia. She should be on the plane now! haha how i envy her.. i want to go back!!! :'( Drink som Kickapoo and eat some durian..

Yeh, 36 degrees, and I was out volunteering helping the church renovate. It might sound weird since the new church is down Hindey street.. and we all know what hindley street is famous for..
But its all good, It's looking nice. Although I'm not christian, my friend is and I thought i'd help out. I think it's really good that he's helping out, since the church really needs people to volunteer. Insipring, almost. (:
I might even go with him and a few others to Brisbane to help out with the flood victims. Sounds like a really nice thing to do! lol, not sure if its happening yet but yeh.

Just a super quick update;
I have never really truely thought a lot about my future, But the future really does look good.
When I went to the SATAC website to see my offers, my heart was beating so fast, it felt so weird!!
Bachelor of Dental Surgery.
Thats what I'll be doing this year. I MADE IT!
I actually cried abit when i saw that I got in.
Throughout the year i was contemplating either Med or dent, after all the research that I did for the interviews, both seemed really awesome.
Dent i rekon will actually be better, finish in 5 years and get into practice straight away, better lifestyle. I could start a family and have time for them (: So without much thought I accepted the offer and declined any second round offers.
The last few times I walked past Adelaide uni, i was really excited. I'm excited about studying there, i really am!!! :D
Can't wait to 'make the world smile', LOL!!

Also, so proud of all my friends, all the hard work has paid off! Congrats!!

It's almost time,

In less than 12 hours from now, uni offers come out.. Please wish me luck guys, i need it super super lots!

Also wanted to take this opportunity while I'm not yet freaking out, to say how much I love Gi Kwang! Seriously never seen a more perfectly handsome person.
